Happy Sunday babies. Is it just me, or does the weekend just flash before your eyes? Sometimes I ask myself, how is it already Sunday🤣 Anyways, I want to talk about the Tower 28 Tinted Moisturizer ($32) I recently tried out that was an epic fail. I got a couple Sephora gift cards for Xmas and I have been on the hunt for some tinted moisturizers. As I get older, full coverage foundations are less appealing to me. I love a natural dewy look, especially when the skin is giving honey.
Tower 28 is a clean beauty cosmetic brand. This brand focuses on producing products for people with sensitive skin. There products are made with clean/vegan ingredients. They are an LA based company and there motto is: “Tower 28, we like our beauty products the way we like our beaches: clean, full of sunshine, and for everyone.” (Tower 28 Beauty) I agree with this statement. They have fun and vibrant products. I swatched the bronzers, blushes, and glosses and they’re stunning. The bronzers and blushes are cream based which is perfect to use to create a natural dewy look.
I was searching around Sephora and asked if the associates what she thought about the Tower 28 tinted moisturizer and she said she loved it. I found out about this brand on TikTok. The lip glosses were so gorgeous to me so I knew I was going to snag a couple of those. I tested out the tinted moisturizer in shade “ 55 Temescal” deep with golden undertones). It was a perfect match.
On New Years Eve, I decided to test out this tinted moisturizer and the finish was beautiful when applied to the skin. Unfortunately, this product did pill and caused a bit of irritation on my skin. I had to wash it off immediately. It provides sheer coverage. If you’re looking for something with extremely light coverage, this may work for you. This would be good as a base before applying your favorite foundation. The product is hydrating and leaves a dewy finish. People with oily/combination skin may not like this product. This tinted moisturizer would beat suit normal to dry skin. If you are acne prone or have hyperpigmentation, this will not provide the coverage you need. I have hyperpigmentation and it didn’t cover up those spots.
Overall, this product would be good for someone who likes minimal makeup with normal/dry/sensitive skin. It is great for light makeup days if you’re looking for a product that allows your skin to breathe. Have any of you tried this product? If so, what do you think about?

This brand is new to me. I’ve heard about it only once (I think) before. If I’m not mistaken, their mascara is supposed to be THE thing to buy.
